Legacy Project Survey Information

OBJECTIVE:

The objective of this survey is to capture the current and historical social, economic, cultural, community wellbeing and land use of the Eight Participating Bands with respect to the Highland Valley. We are trying to gain an understanding of current and historical conditions in order to assess the potential impacts of an additional 13+ years of mining in the Highland Valley (i.e. the HVC 2040 Project).
There are 2 surveys: the Individual Survey and the Head of Household Survey. We are asking that all CNA Participating Band members over the age of 16 complete the Individual Survey. The Individual Survey will take approximately 30 minutes and we are offering a $50 gift card for participation and entry into a grand prize draw (prizes: Pendleton blanket, big chief electric smoker and game processing set). If you are the head of your household (i.e. matriarch/patriarch, single resident, main income earner etc.), we also ask that you complete the Head of Household Survey however only one submission is permitted per household. The Head of Household Survey will take approximately 5 minutes to complete, and we are offering a $25 gift card for participation.
Once you complete the survey(s), we will need to verify your eligibility before we can issue any gift cards. A CNA staff member will contact you once this process is complete however it may take a few days, so we appreciate your patience.
